Cherri Lyn Monty and Dr. Michael P. Miladore exchanged wedding vows during an afternoon ceremony May 30 at St. Columba Cathedral. The Rev. George V. Murry, bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown, officiated. A reception followed at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield.
The couple are residing in Williamsville, N.Y.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Monty of Saranac Lake, N.Y., and the groom is the son of Drs. Michael and Dianne Miladore of Canfield.
The bride graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is employed in marketing and sales at Mancuso Marketing & Sales in Williamsville.
The groom graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in combined sciences. He earned a doctor of medicine degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and is chief resident at the University of Buffalo’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. His post-residency plans will take him to the University of Buffalo in August for a Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship.
The bride wore an ivory-colored strapless tulle gown with a sweetheart neckline. The asymmetrical bodice was complemented with a mermaid-style skirt featuring layers of tulle ending in an extended sweep train. The back was fashioned with a corset-laced design.
Danielle Fraser, sister of the bride, served as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mikka Nodzo, Brittany Monty, her cousin, Jennifer Parisi, Dr. Julia Ng and Caitlin Bottcher. Attendants wore blush-colored dresses.
Gemma White, cousin of the groom, participated as the flower girl.
The groom’s brothers, Dr. Nicholas Miladore and Dr. Joseph Miladore, shared the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Benjamin Monty, brother of the bride; John Fraser, brother-in-law of the bride; Dr. Benjamin Wong; and Dr. Kevin Kuppler.
A cousin of the groom, Jade Ungur, served as the ring bearer.
