SENIOR CITIZENS


AARP 4611 will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. The executive board will convene at 11 a.m. Members are to take covered dishes for a potluck lunch at 11:30 a.m.; for nonmembers the donation is $6. April, May and June birthdays will be recognized, and the church and school will be chosen. There will be a 50-50 raffle. To report an illness or death call Evelyn Jenkins at 330-530-2734. There will be no regular meetings in July or August.

Girard Old Timers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lamancusa Restaurant on Trumbull Avenue, Girard.

Holy Family Seniors Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish Hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Lunch will be served at noon followed by bingo and cards. Hostesses are Jean Evans and Mary Medovich. Contact Ruth Burns, president, for information at 330-757-1334.

Keenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet for lunch at noon Tuesday at the Royal Buffet in the Boardman Plaza. All members are asked to attend.

Liberty 55-Plus Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church, Cardinal Drive, Liberty. LeeAnne Martyak will preside, and hostesses are Mary Eck, Martha Howard and Jane Popa. There will be a brown bag lunch and a 50-50 raffle, and June birthdays will be acknowledged.

Local 2243 U.S.W.A. Cooperweld Steel Retirees, S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10, will have its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Windsor House Champion Estates, 235 Champion Ave. E., Champion. The guest speaker will be Trumbull County Commissioner Frank Fuda. Refreshments will be served.

OBES Retirees will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Perkins on Route 224 in Boardman. All retirees are welcome.
