Butlers' 50th honored at June dinner

AUSTINTOWN

Robert and Carol Butler of Austintown were honored for their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner June 10 at Stony Brook Cabins in Gatlinburg, Tenn. It was hosted by their children.

Their children are Lori (David) Paull of Austintown, Donald (Jodi) Butler of Deltona, Fla. and Julie (Mike) Villano of Canfield. The couple have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The former Carol Sells and Mr. Butler were married May 29, 1965, in St. Paul Church, Canton.

Mrs. Butler is a homemaker and baby sitter. She also is a member of several ladies card clubs.

Mr. Butler retired in 2000 as an appliance manager for Kmart in Youngstown. He also worked for Millcreek Children’s Center until last year and co-owned Crescomm Cleaning, a floor cleaning company, for 20 years with his son-in-law, David Paull. He is a Navy veteran and served four years.

The couple are members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
