Youngstown man smears buttocks with heroin in cruiser, police say
Staff report
YOUNGSTOWN
Police say one of two men they arrested about 8:10 p.m. Thursday smeared a bag of heroin across his buttocks as he was handcuffed in the back of a cruiser.
Lamont Wright, 26, of East Avondale Avenue, was taken to the Mahoning County jail on charges of tampering with evidence and possession of heroin. Also arrested was Bryant Toney, 23, of Parkclife Avenue, on charges of failure to notify law enforcement of a concealed-carry permit and possession of heroin.
Police pulled over a car Wright was driving at Volney Road and Winona Drive because it matched the description of a vehicle that was involved in a recent drug transaction, reports said.
Wright was seen shoving his hands down his pants and was cuffed and placed in a cruiser.
