v St. Christine Parish Festival, 6 to 11 p.m.: The event featuring food, games, entertainment and bingo is underway. It continues from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
v Pride Youngstown Festival, 5 to 11 p.m.: The seventh annual gathering takes place at 300 W. Federal St., Youngstown, and continues from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday.
v Leetonia 2015 Bigfoot Festival, 3 to 10 p.m.: Leetonia Coke Ovens, 300 E. Main St., Leetonia, a historic industrial site, is the location of the event focusing on the elusive Sasquatch. There will be train rides, crafts, face painting and music.

Preview party set for women artists
YOUNGSTOWN
YWCA of Youngstown’s 33rd annual Women Artists: A Celebration! art show will open with a preview party from 7 to 9 p.m. June 20 at the YWCA, 25 W. Rayen Ave.
The preview party is a ticketed event. Call 330-746-6361, ext. 102.
The free exhibit will be open from noon to 4 p.m. June 22-July 17. The exhibit will be closed July 3 and 4 and Sundays except July 12.
The juror is Susan Talbot-Stanaway, former director of the Zanesville Museum of Art. The show features 128 works of art by 63 artists. The exhibition includes works by local, regional and national women artists. The juried show features paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and metal work.
Arts council names director
WARREN
The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County has appointed Adam Gregory is its new executive director.
A Warren native and a 1994 graduate of Howland High School, he attended Columbus College of Art Design focusing on fashion photography.
Gregory spent many years in Boston and Columbus working in the advertising and fashion industry. He moved back to Warren to start his own business and to be closer to his family. For the past seven years, he has owned Adam Gregory Photography, specializing in weddings, seniors and family photography. In 2011 and 2012, Greogry was the official photographer for the Denver Broncos at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.
Adam lives with his wife, Asha, in Warren.
