Parents announce Cregg-Koval engagement

Robert and Betina Cregg of Glenview, Ill., and Dr. John and Maureen Koval of Poland are announcing the engagement and upcoming nuptials of their children, Christine A. Cregg and John M. Koval III, both of Chicago.

The couple will exchange vows this summer in an afternoon ceremony at Assumption Catholic Church, and a reception will follow at the Newberry Library, both in Chicago. Invitations will be issued for the events.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her future husband received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Miami University of Ohio and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Southern California.

Both work at Abbott Laboratories in Abbott Park, Ill., where she is a senior financial analyst and he is a senior manager of public affairs.
