Man in custody after bus stop stabbing

YOUNGSTOWN

A Market Street man is in the Mahoning County jail on a charge of felonious assault after a woman was stabbed at a downtown bus stop, police said.

Reports said Fabe Easterly, 49, was arguing with another man at a bus stop in the first block of Market Street about 4:45 p.m. when a 23-year-old Campbell woman tried to stop them from arguing and Easterly stabbed her in the back.

The woman was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital and Easterly was taken into custody.
