AUSTINTOWN

Township police are searching for one suspect for three home burglaries in the same neighborhood Tuesday.

Capt. Bryan Kloss said it is believed that one person broke into a home in the 5300 block of West Rockwell Road, home in the 5400 block of Norquest Boulevard and an apartment in the 100 block of North Kimberly Avenue between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect was confronted by a resident of West Rockwell as that person was still home at about 9:54 a.m. Tuesday.

Those streets are behind the Giant Eagle on Mahoning Avenue and Rockwell and Noquest run parallel and Kimberly runs vertically and intersects with both. In total, an IPad and cash were taken. A gun safe was moved in the North Kimberly Avenue apartment but bit taken.
