Shooting in Warren leaves 1 man dead

Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead at an Oak Circle residence Sunday morning.
Sgt. Bryan Holmes said police were called to the house at 3 a.m. and found a 44-year-old man dead inside.
They were not releasing his name,
No arrests were made late Sunday. More information could be made available today, Holmes said.
Fatal cycle accident

An accident involving two motorcycles Saturday night at Market Street and West Evergreen Avenue included at least one fatality, police confirmed today.
No other details were available. Crash reports are not available from the department on weekends.
Vindicator news partner 21 WFMJ-TV reported that the accident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday.
Leadership event

Warriors Inc., 2733 Market St., will offer a free summer leadership program for youths age 12 to 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays from next Monday through Aug. 14.
Breakfast, lunch, weekend meals and transportation will be provided.
This program is for youths who are ready to commit to learning to be leaders with the support of parents and community leaders. Weekly programming, activities field trips and more will be offered. For information, contact Wendy Robinson at 330-783-5440. There is limited registration.
Relay for Life event
AUSTINTOWN
The Austintown American Cancer Society Relay For Life will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday in the Austintown Elementary School parking lot, 245 Idaho Road-Lynn Kirk Loop. The financial goal is $90,000.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a survivor lap. The snack for survivors and caregivers will be served about 11 a.m. in the school cafeteria.
