I scream. You scream. Then we fight about ice cream!

BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating a case in which an ice cream truck driver reportedly was assaulted by a competing one.

Police responded to the area Southern Boulevard and Erskine Avenue Saturday, where a victim told them that he was driving his truck when another ice cream truck driver working in the area cut him off, got out of his vehicle, then assaulted the victim.

The victim told police he believes the suspect was upset that they were competing for customers.
