Car runs into South Side house, 1 hospitalized

YOUNGSTOWN — The driver of a car that crashed into a house about 7 p.m. today at Medford Avenue and Sheridan Road on Youngstown’s South Side was taken to St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital to be examined for injuries.

Police said two cars were involved in the accident. The driver of the first car was traveling on Medford but failed to stop completely for a stop sign and collided with the other car. Police said an elderly woman was the driver of the car that hit the house.
