Amy Sue Morrow and David Allen Patterson, both of Louisville, Ohio, are engaged, his parents are announcing.

Her parents are David and Karen Morrow of Washington Court House, Ohio, and his parents are Gary and Marilyn Patterson of Mineral Ridge.

The couple are planning a 1:30 p.m. wedding Aug. 22 at Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church, and a reception will take place at The Tangier, both in Akron. Invitations will be extended for both events.

The future bride graduated from Miami University with a master’s degree in accounting. She is an accounting research analyst for First Energy in Akron.

The prospective groom graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. He is a production scheduling supervisor for Union Metal Corp. in Canton.
