v Burgers, Beards & Brews festival, noon to midnight: There will be a daylong car show, with the beard and moustache competition at 2 p.m. Admission is $5. It’s on North Phelps Street and Central Square in downtown Youngstown.

v River Fest, noon to 8 p.m.: Running side-by-side with this educational festival on the grounds of B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, is the Artists of the Rustbelt Summer Market.

v Immaculate Heart of Mary festival, 6 p.m. to midnight: Say hello to summer at the 37th annual installment of this family festival. The parish grounds are at 4490 Norquest Blvd., Austintown.

“Power” (9 p.m., Starz): In the Season 2 premiere of “Power,” James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) gathers himself after a botched attempt on his life. Undeterred, he doubles down on his drug business in order to save his nightclub.

Next, Roland Barksdale Hall of the African American Genealogical Society will discuss researching family history and how to plan a successful family reunion.

ROCcK choir seeks members

AUSTINTOWN

The ROCcK Children’s Choir will have a picnic from 1:30 to 4 p.m. June 14 at Austintown Township Park on Kirk Road for children interested in joining the choir.

There’s no cost to attend the picnic or join the choir. The only requirements are a love of music and a desire to help people in need.
