LIMEX meeting set
NORTH JACKSON
The Diocese of Youngstown Office of Religious Education will host an information meeting about the Loyola University New Orleans Institute for Ministry Extension Program (LIMEX) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 23 at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. James Church Hall in North Jackson.
The information includes course requirements, tuition, spiritual formation and application for this graduate religious education and pastoral studies degree and certificate program in the Diocese of Youngstown.
This program of graduate ministry education is for lay, religious, and ordained persons who are engaged in church ministry or for laity who want to address themselves to their ministry in the world.
Loyola Institute for Ministry, in cooperation with church-related sponsoring agencies across the United States, Scotland, England, Belize, Canada and Nigeria, responds to the needs of ministry and education personnel who have limited access to Catholic educational resources by offering on-site programs leading to the master of religious education and master of pastoral studies degrees with focus areas in Christian spirituality for pastoral ministers, pastoral life and administration, youth ministry, Hispanic ministry, religion and ecology, marketplace ministry, digital ministry, and small Christian community formation.
LIM offers this same program of study for a noncredit continuing education certificate.
The core courses are taken in learning groups; each course is led by a Loyola certified facilitator.
Registration is requested. Contact the Office of Religious Education, 330-744-8451, tsauline@youngstowndiocese.org.
