Vacant Ridge Avenue home destroyed by fire

YOUNGSTOWN — A vacant 631 Ridge Ave. home on the South Side was destroyed in an arson early today.

Crews were called to the home about 3:15 a.m. and found it fully engulfed in flames, reports said. Reports said neighbors told firefighters the home has been vacant for at least 15 years.

Damage is listed at $5,000. No one was injured.
