Team NEO names new CEO

CLEVELAND — Team Northeast Ohio Chairman James R. Clay announced today the appointment of Bill Koehler as CEO of the organization, a private-sector economic development organization that markets the region globally.

Koehler begins in this role June 15.

“Bill’s vast leadership experience and business acumen make him perfectly suited to take on this critical leadership role at Team NEO,” Clay said in a statement. “His history of collaboration and track record of tackling business opportunities to achieve results will benefit all of Northeast Ohio.”

Koehler, a senior executive with over two decades of experience in corporate banking.

He succeeds Thomas Waltermire, who retired in December 2014.
