OVI checkpoint tonight in Columbiana County

LISBON — The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced an OVI checkpoint will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. tonight on state Route 45, east of Depot Road in Perry Township.

The checkpoint will be conducted in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to further combat impaired driving as well as alcohol-related injuries and fatal crashes.

The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, Salem City Police Department and the Perry Township Police Department will participate in the saturation patrols.
