Home for Kids in Niles has open house Sunday

NILES — Homes For Kids, which provides treatment foster care to children in the Mahoning Valley, is having a one-day open house and monthlong benefit at the Warren Ponderosa restaurant, 3581 Elm Road, Warren.

The monthlong benefit raises money in June from every meal purchased when the diner mentions Homes For Kids.

The one-day open house will be noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the restaurant for the public to learn more about how to be a treatment foster parent. A trunk sale benefiting the center will be at the restaurant 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 27.
