Car fire spreads to other vehicles in Mill Creek Park

YOUNGSTOWN — A fire in a car about 5:15 p.m. Thursday in a parking area at Mill Creek Park also caught two other cars on fire.

Reports said the owner of the car told firefighters she had been having problems with fuses in the cigarette lighter and when she parked the car, smoke began coming out of the dashboard and in turn flames began to appear.

The flames spread to cars on both sides, reports said.

Damage is listed at $2,000. There were no injuries.
