Canfield Soccer Club recently competed at the Medina Invitational Soccer Tournament, their first tournament together as a team.

The U-10 girls team posted a record of 1-2, as they played a tough schedule that included Buckeye, Medina and Strongsville.

The U-10 boys team won its first three games of the weekend, against teams from Highland, Brunswick and Copley. These three wins earned them a spot in the championship match where they fell to Canton/Akron Strikers, earning tournament runners up.

The U-11 boys ended up having the strongest showing of the weekend, they scored a total of 22 goals over the weekend without conceding. After winning their first three matches, they went to the championship game against Medina Rangers Black, where two second half goals were enough for the boys to take home the championship trophy.
