Youngstown man faces multiple charges after Boardman traffic stop

BOARDMAN — A Youngstown man faces multiple charges after he was pulled over by township police.

Raymond Maggianetti, 37, of Willow Street, is charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of an open container. He also was arrested on a Boardman theft warrant, and cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

The charges stem from a traffic stop late Wednesday at Market Street and Woodrow Avenue. Police say they found a syringe, an open bottle of vodka and other drug abuse instruments in his vehicle.

He was released on a summons and is scheduled to appear in court this evening.
