Youngstown diocese to host Faith and family festival July 12

NORTH CANTON — Registration is open for the free Faith and Family Festival planned from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. July 12 at Walsh University’s Hoover Park, 1875 E. Maple St.

Families are asked to register at www.FaithFamilyFest.org to ensure preparation for lunch and children and teen activities.

The event is sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown’s Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Life in partnership with Walsh University, and with the help of corporate sponsors.

The day will feature talks by Catholic speaker and author, Dr. Marcellino D’Ambrosia, praise and worship music led by Ben Walther, radio personality and emcee Brooke Taylor, and Mass at 5 p.m. celebrated by Monsignor Robert Siffrin, vicar general of the diocese.
