Western Reserve Road bridge over I-680 to close June 15

NORTH LIMA — Beginning June 15, Western Reserve Road over Interstate 680 will be closed through early September for a bridge replacement, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced today.

The detour will be state Route 7 (Market Street) to state Route 626 to state Route 164. Access to the exit and entrance ramps at Western Reserve and 680 will remain open.

Lane restrictions already are in place on I-680 and Western Reserve for bridge repairs.

ODOT also announced today it will distribute brochures to businesses along Western Reserve between Springfield and Tippecanoe roads from 10 a.m. to noon Monday.

The work is part of an $8.9 million project to replace the bridge over I-680 and resurface 680 from U.S. Route 224 to the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The project is scheduled to be completed in October.
