Golden String to sponsor golf outing

Golden String will sponsor its 12th annual golf outing June 12 at Knoll Run Golf Course, 1421 Struthers-Coitsville Road.

Donations are being sought for a basket auction. Last year the basket auction earned almost $1,200.

Sign sponsors also are needed. The cost is $100 for each advertisement. Those interested in golfing or sponsoring can contact Adrienne Mowry at adrienne@bigpurplecat.com or 330-207-5949 for information.

Golden String is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of the disabled children and adults through activities such as holiday parties, transportation and staffing for local sporting events, dances, weekend trips, camping trips and full vacations. These activities aid in developing self-respect, finding direction and building lasting friendships.
