Woman arrested on warrant, drug charges after traffic stop

YOUNGSTOWN — A woman taken into custody on a theft warrant following a traffic stop about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday at McGuffey Road and Willow Street also was arrested on two felony drug charges.

Heather Carver, 38, of Florencdale Avenue, was charged with possession of drugs/heroin and possession of drugs/crack cocaine after police found her possessing individual doses of crack cocaine and marijuana.

The theft warrant was from Trumbull County, reports said. Carver was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
