A fire of undetermined origin caused an estimated $10,000 damage to a home Monday in the 3000 Block of Staunton Street off Goldie Road.
Smoke was seen by township police Chief Richard Tisone as he was driving by, and he alerted the occupants and called the fire department.
One of the six occupants of the two-story, wood-framed home was taken to a hospital for treatment of possible smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire in a second-floor bedroom, reported at 7:15 p.m., is under investigation, said fire Capt. Arnold Barzak.
Liberty firefighters, assisted by crews from Vienna Township and the Eagle Joint Fire District, cleared the scene about 8:50 p.m.
