Police catch man suspected of robbing Huntington Bank on Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — The suspect in a downtown bank robbery Friday was found today.

Chief of Detectives Capt. Brad Blackburn said Randy Jamison, 39, was found by Liberty police and city police picked him up at ValleyCare Northside Medical Center.

Blackburn said he is not yet sure if Liberty police took Jamison to the hospital or they were called to the hospital because of Jamison.

Jamison is a suspect in the robbery of the Huntington Bank branch on Market Street about 1:40 p.m. Friday. Police said a man walked in the bank, handed a teller a note and walked out with some money.
