Boardman police probe Glenwood Avenue gas station robbery

BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Shell gas station, 8600 Glenwood Ave., in which an unknown amount of cash was taken.

Police responded to the incident about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.

A store employee told police that a male suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at him and demanded that the employee give him all the money in the drawer, which the employee did.

The suspect then fled the scene.

The incident was caught on video.
