The preliminary hearing for Brandi Cottrell, 22, of Campbell, charged with drug possession, has been set for Thursday in Girard Municipal Court.
Police arrested Cottrell on July 21 after a traffic stop on South Main Street on charges of possession of schedule III and IV drugs, possession of heroin, possession of drug-abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a police report, Cottrell had suspected heroin powder, a cooking spoon, a Suboxone tablet and a syringe in her possession.
Police also arrested the vehicle’s driver, Daniel Swab, 33, of Campbell on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
The report states there was a warrant for Swab’s arrest out of the Youngstown Police Department and that Hubbard police found two marijuana buds under Swab’s driver’s seat and a glass pipe in the driver’s console. He will be arraigned Tuesday in Girard Municipal Court.
Cottrell entered pleas of not guilty for all misdemeanor charges at her arraignment a few hours after her arrest.
