Fall activity fee due

The Poland Local School Board instituted an activity fee for athletics in grades 7-12. The activity fee is for students who choose to participate in extra-curricular activities that are supervised or coached by an individual employed by the district. Forms can be downloaded at http://www.polandbulldogs.com. The fall sports payment needs paid in full by Aug. 3. Make check or money order payable to:

Poland Board of Education, Attention: Athletic Fee, 3199 Dobbins Rd., Poland, Ohio 44514.

Neighbors wants fall sports news

The school year is almost upon us and soon fall sports will begin. Neighbors wants to be there every step of the way. If you’re a fall sports coach or the parent of an athlete, we need you help. In order to get teams and players the recognition they deserve, we want to showcase them in our pages. We can only do that if you commit to sending us game reports and photos each week. If you send it, it will get in.

The sports news we’re looking for ranges from varsity high school teams down to middle school and even elementary and recreational leagues.
