Juvenile arrested for the murder of 18-year-old man
YOUNGSTOWN
Police have arrested a juvenile for the murder of an 18-year-old man Sunday evening and are searching for another juvenile.
Detective Sgt. Rick Spottleson declined to give the juvenile’s name, saying he wanted to wait until the second juvenile is caught.
The pair are charged with the murder of Jarrel Brown, 18, of East LaClede Avenue, who was found shot to death about 10:15 p.m. Sunday at West Indianola Avenue and Market Street.
Police have said they think Brown was shot somewhere near the intersection and walked there before collapsing.
Brown’s death is the 13th homicide in Youngstown in 2015.
