Joe Walsh concert sold out at Packard hall

WARREN

The Sept. 18 concert by Joe Walsh at Packard Music Hall sold out in a little over two hours Friday, making it the fastest sell-out in the venue’s history, according to Kelsey Rupert of JAC Management, which operates the hall.

The record was previously held by the Huey Lewis concert in July.

Tickets for Walsh’s show, which is the first on his fall solo tour, went on sale at 10 a.m. Roughly 1,900 tickets were available.

The sell-out was the seventh since JAC Management took over Packard last September.

“When we first took over management, these were the exact type of shows we envisioned,” said Eric Ryan, JAC president. “To have marquee, legendary talent such as Joe Walsh on our stage is incredible and the amount of support we have received from the community is amazing. It will certainly enable us to continue to book great acts.”

Walsh has strong roots in Northeast Ohio. He attended Kent State University and began his rock’n’roll career in the Cleveland area.
