Date for Sabeh, Smerechansky rites announced

The families of Jessica Lynn Sabeh and Peter Jordan Smerechansky, both of Boardman, are announcing their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Michael and Colleen Sabeh of Andover, Ohio. The prospective groom is the son of David and Jean Metzger of Poland.

The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. Aug. 6 at the gazebo at Boardman Park, and a reception will follow at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard. Invitations will be issued for the events.

Miss Sabeh earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in vocal performance from Youngstown State University. She is the general manager at Krakatoa Tropical Food and Spirits in Boardman.

Her fianc received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from YSU. He works in assembly at General Motors in Lordstown.
