ASSOCIATIONS

Tri-Gold Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet Aug. 13 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. A social will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6. The cost is $17. The menu comprises chicken salad supreme with assorted fruits, pasta salad with a croissant or ham croissant and coffee, tea or iced tea. Members are asked to take antique items or craft and hobby items to share.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are invited. The next meeting will be Sept. 14 because of the Labor Day holiday.

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1950 will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at Bedford Trails in Coitsville.

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1955 will have its monthly breakfast at 10 a.m. Saturday at What’s Cookin’ in the Mathews Road Plaza in Boardman. Classmates, spouses and guests are welcome.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. Classmates and guests are invited.

FRATERNAL

Girard Eagles Auxiliary 2172 reminds members who have not paid their $20 dues they must pay Amy Mackey as soon as possible. Those who don’t pay won’t be eligible for drawings. The club will have its picnic from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at Chestnut Ridge Lake in Hubbard. There will be adult and kids games, a 50-50 raffle, basket raffles and bingo. The club will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, corn and beverages. Those who attend will pay $3 admission and take a covered dish. The auxiliary card party will take place in October.

Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled the following Neighborhood Group meetings: Evening Cut Ups will not meet in August. For information call 330-545-6520. Girard Knights of Columbus, Council 2935, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the K. of C. Hall, 122 N. State St.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard.

Kiwanis Club of Western Mahoning County meets at 6 p.m. each Wednesday at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Guests and new members are welcome. The next speaker will be John Schindell, director of training and communications for PeopleKeys in Boardman.

SUPPORT GROUPS

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Northside Medical Center, Medical Office Building A. Meetings are free and open to all caregivers and family members of a loved one living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Registration is appreciated but not required.
