Chalk walk event planned in Salem

Salem Parks and Recreation Department and Salem Public Library, as part of the Go Wild in the Park series, have planned a summertime activity from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the basketball courts at Waterworth Memorial Park, on Superior Avenue.

Children ages 5 to 12 can have fun making colorful chalk drawings. Chalk will be provided. Registration is not needed, and there is no cost to participate. For information call the library at 330-332-0042 or Shane Franks at the memorial building at 330-332-5512.
