Cash, debit card taken from unlocked cars in Girard

GIRARD

Police are investigating two reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles parked overnight.

A resident reported Thursday that someone had taken $50 in cash and a debit card from her unlocked car while it was parked overnight from Monday to Tuesday on Davis Street, a police report states.

The resident told police that the debit card has been used twice since it was stolen. Another resident reported Thursday that someone had taken $140 in cash from his unlocked vehicle parked on Todd Avenue sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
