Kayla Liller, 21, of Warren and East LaClede avenues in Youngstown, pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of child endangering for causing injuries to her boyfriend’s daughter, 4, in January.
Liller will be sentenced by Judge W. Wyatt McKay to up to 11 years in prison in about four weeks, after the Trumbull County Adult Probation Department conducts a pre-sentence investigation.
Her boyfriend, Tedy Mendez II, 25, of Laird Avenue Southeast and Western Reserve Place in Austintown, was sentenced earlier to seven years in prison after also pleading guilty to two counts of child endangering.
Gabe Wildman, assistant Trumbull County prosecutor, said the girl suffered a skull fracture, broken arm, and bruising “from head to toe” while under the supervision of Mendez and Liller.
