Police probe many cigarette thefts at Austintown Walmart

AUSTINTOWN

Three males have stolen about $2,000 worth of cigarettes from Walmart over the course of a month.

Walmart officials, 6001 Mahoning Ave., called police about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to report thefts between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. on June 30, July 3, July 5, July 7, July 19, July 20 and July 25. Two suspects were seen on surveillance video on the same night on video once while a third suspect has been seen on video six times and all three suspects have arrived at the store in a similar car.
