Gang member gets more than three years in prison

YOUNGSTOWN

Jevon Fitzgerald, 22, was sentenced in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today to three and a half years in prison on weapons and gang charges.

Fitzgerald had pleaded guilty to charges he was a member of the E Block street gang on the West Side. Several members of the gang were indicted in May of 2014.

The sentence was handed down by Judge Lou D'Apolito.
