Family of six asleep as fire burned on second floor
YOUNGSTOWN
Reports said firefighters found a family of six and their mother sleeping about 10:05 a.m. Tuesday inside their 479 Clearmount Ave. home as a fire burned above them.
Reports said when crews arrived they kicked in the door and found the family asleep on the first floor. Reports said the family was roused from the home by firefighters who then advanced to a second floor bedroom and extinguished a fire there.
Damage is listed at $500. The cause is listed as unintentional, and reports said firefighters are investigating if the blaze was started by one of the children playing with matches.
