Sarah Cora Wilhelm of Hartford and Dr. Theodore Glenn Bean II of Franklin, Pa., were united in marriage during an April 25 afternoon ceremony at First Presbyterian Church of Sharon.

The Rev. Dr. Glenn Hink officiated, and a reception followed in the ballroom at the Park Inn by Radisson in West Middlesex, Pa. The couple spent their honeymoon in the U.S. Virgin Islands and reside in Hershey, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Phillip B. and Nancy M. Wilhelm of Hartford. She is a graduate of Allegheny College, where she earned a degree in environmental science. She is employed as assistant greenhouse keeper at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey.

The groom is the son of Theodore G. Bean and Diane E. Hasek of Franklin, Pa. He graduated from Allegheny College with a degree in biochemistry and from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he earned a medical doctorate. He will be completing a residency in pediatric medicine at the Penn State Hershey School of Medicine.

The bride’s Cinderella-style gown featured a full skirt, delicate embroidery on the bodice and skirt and tulle overlay.

Her matron of honor was Jennifer Barlekoff. Bridesmaids were Julie Ropelewski, Catharine Wresche and Emma Bean, sister of the groom. They wore floor-length dresses in colors of mint and peach.

The best man for his brother was Jared Bean. Groomsmen were John Milligan, Sean Unice and Jack Lindeman.
