UPDATE | Police ID city's latest homicide victim

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are investigating the city's 13th homicide of the year.

Sources tell The Vindicator the victim is Jarrell Brown of LaClede Avenue.

A spokesman said Brown was shot at Market Street and West Indianola Avenue late Sunday evening. The spokesman said police were called there about 10:15 p.m.

Youngstown had 29 homicides in 2014. At this point last year, there were five homicides.
