Pair arrested after gun incident in Campbell

CAMPBELL — Reports of gunfire near Woodland Avenue early Sunday morning led to two arrests.

Police arrested Luis Gonzalez, 36, of Campbell for having weapons while under disability, prohibited discharge of a firearm and using weapons while intoxicated. Police also arrested Andre Ortiz, 35, of Austintown for obstructing official business.

A neighbor told police Gonzalez was firing a gun in a Woodland Avenue driveway.

Police retrieved spent ammunition from the driveway.

Gonzalez will be held without bond until his arraignment Tuesday in Campbell Municipal Court.

Ortiz was released from custody after posting a $1,500 bond. He will be arraigned Friday in Campbell Municipal Court.
