Jury selection underway in case of Poland band volunteer

YOUNGSTOWN — Jury selection is underway today in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court for a former Poland school band volunteer accused of abduction and public indecency.

Visiting Judge Paul Mitrovich is hearing the case against Kevin Downs, 50, of Chablis Lane in Poland.

The charges stem from a Dec. 12, 2012 incident in his home.
