Donate school supplies to Beatitude House

YOUNGSTOWN

As the homeless and disadvantaged children served by Beatitude House prepare for the upcoming school year, they need the assistance of the community.

A collection is being taken for back-to-school supplies and many items are needed.

The children need traditional school supplies but also three-ring binders, flash drives, note cards, book covers, pencil boxes, tissues, hand sanitizer, paper towels, sandwich size and large ziplock baggies, sanitizing wipes, dry erase markers, Play-Doh, wide-rule and college-rule notebooks and loose-leaf paper.

Donations of back packs, lunch bags, and gift cards that can be used to purchase school clothing, shoes, socks and underwear also are appreciated.

Children range in age from elementary to high school and attend various schools.

To donate, take items to the administrative offices at 238 Tod Lane on the grounds of St. Edward Parish or to the Warren location at 1370 Tod Ave. NW.

Donations will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Items are needed by Aug. 3.
