Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will run on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. The Religion deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday for publication that Saturday. Send the information to the Religion Desk by email to religion@vindy.com; by fax to 330-747-6712 and marked for religion desk; or by mail to The Vindicator, P.O. Box 780, Youngstown, OH 44501-0780. For verification, include a name and phone number of a contact person, which will not be published.

Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., Canfield: “G-Force- God’s Love in Action” is the theme of the program scheduled from 8:45 a.m. to noon Aug. 3-7. Children will learn how to put their faith into action through activities including music and movement, science in action, creative crafts, daily Bible stories and refreshments. All children entering preschool through to seventh grade may attend. Cost is $5 per child. New this year is a Tween class for children entering fifth through seventh grade. This class will focus on the same stories as the younger participants, but with more age-appropriate activities and discussion. Gospel Temple Baptist Church, 279 Whipple Ave., Campbell: “Helping Children Grow in the Light of God’s Word” is the theme of the activity planned from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be music, crafts, creation, fellowship and Scripture. The session is for participants from 3 to 12 years old. Transportation is available for Campbell residents.

Third Baptist Church, 1177 Park Hill Drive, Youngstown: “Jesus ... The True Superhero” is the theme of the program planned from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 3-14. The free two-week program is for 4- to 17-year-olds and includes Bible lessons, crafts, music, snacks and games. Registration forms are available in the church office.
