Maray Tenney, Carl Ballerstein are engaged

Maray Schira Tenney and Carl Michael Alan Ballerstein, both of East Liverpool, are engaged, their parents are announcing.

The parents of the future bride are Patrick Tenney of East Liverpool and Kendra Tibbott of Boardman. The parents of the prospective groom are Alan Ballerstein and Tammy Ballerstein, both of East Liverpool.

Invitations will be issued for a 3:30 p.m. wedding Sept. 19 at Drake’s Landing in Canfield, where a reception will follow.

The bride-to-be attended Ohio Valley College of Technology and works for Cherished Children Day Care.

Her fiancé works for Dearing Compressor and Pump. He joined the Army in 2007 and has been in the Army Reserve since 2010.
