BOARDMAN

Kutlick Realty LLC announced several recent transactions including eateries, businesses and development in the Mahoning Valley.

“It’s good to see small- business activity and investors,” said Bill Kutlick of Kutlick Realty.

Among them are new eateries such as the construction of a Dunkin Donuts at the corner of Market Street and South Avenue in North Lima. Two new Subways will be opening this year with one on Market Street by the Eat’n Park in Boardman and the other on Center Road next to the Dairy Queen in Poland.

Kutlick said there are not many food options in North Lima, which would make it an attractive market for Dunkin Donuts. Kutlick Realty also has a good relationship with Subway, he added.

Some transactions will bring new businesses. In Columbiana County, the Center For Women will open an office at the Oakmont Plaza in Columbiana.

In Trumbull County, Cricket Wireless, a prepaid- wireless service provider, leased space at 3610 Belmont Ave. across from Walmart in Liberty.

In Mahoning County, Drive Medical Inc., global distributors of durable medical equipment, and North Canton-based Graphic Enterprises Office Solutions leased office space on Seville Drive and Manor Hill, respectively, in Canfield. Cowles Tool Co. relocated to the former Hynes Steel building on Four Mile Run Road in Austintown. The Commonwealth Suburban Title Agency building on Phelps Street in Youngstown was sold, although Commonwealth remains in its downtown and Boardman locations.

Kutlick sold several other properties, including closed Huntington Bank branches in Hanoverton, Lowellville and Washingtonville. There are closed branches still available for sale in Alliance and Brookfield.

A local developer purchased 13 acres on the southwest corner of state Route 11 and U.S. Route 224 in Canfield for $550,000.

Kutlick said it could potentially be redeveloped for future restaurants, businesses and hotels, though it’s strictly an investment at this point.

The former Par Insurance building at 8255 South Avenue also was sold recently to Meridian Services Inc.

Five warehouse buildings with cranes on Center Road in Lowellville were sold, but leasing space will be available.

Kutlick also sold an office building, 8440 Market St., across from St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

In Alliance, a 130-unit self- storage and 10-room motel were sold for $725,000.

The CES Group purchased a warehouse, 202 Meridian Road.

After Kutlick finalized lease negotiations with Belleria Pizza, the retail plaza, 19 Sycamore Drive, in New Middletown was sold to a local investor.
