Spanish Evangelical Church, 369 Keystone Ave., wil host Latinfest 2015, a live, free Christian concert featuring Albranza orchestra at 7 p.m. today. Spanish food will be available. A free-will offering will be collected.

Groening lecture

The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends will have a 90-minute lecture, featuring Arlene Barkan, leader of the Youngstown and Cleveland Communities, and Internet Children’s Community of North America, at 6 p.m. Thursday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 N. Broad St.

A short documentary film will be shown. Admission is free.

The Circle of Friends is not affiliated with Lord of Life Lutheran Church, or any other religion.

Bruno Groening (1906-59) was a German healer who taught about the power of faith in overcoming disease. The Circle of Friends passes on his teachings through information lectures.

Liturgy begins picnic

Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Sinisa Hrvacevic and responses sung by the Holy Trinity Choir will open the 83rd annual Serbian Day picnic at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave.

Varieties of traditional foods will be available for sale. There will be live musical entertainment throughout the day in the social hall and pavilion until 8 p.m. Admission is $3.

Choir anniversary

The adult choir of Greater Liberty Baptist Church, 66 10th St., will mark its 69th anniversary during a program at 4 p.m. Sunday. Featured will be various choirs and soloists. The Rev. Carl Anderson is pastor.

Northeast Ohio Fellowship of Christian Athletes plans the second annual Breakfast of Champions at 8 a.m. Aug. 9 at Faith Family Church, 8200 Freedom Ave. NW.

Tony Dungy, Super Bowl champion coach of the Indianapolis Colts, author and TV football analyst, is featured speaker. Anthony Mu ±oz, Pro Football Hall of Fame offensive tackle who played 13 seasons for the National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals, also will speak.

Bible Walk tour

MANSFIELD, OHIO

Bible Walk, a wax museum with life-size figures, will open a new tour in August, “Amazing Grace – The Journeys of Paul.” The 30-minute tour will focus on the life and teachings of the apostle, preacher, teacher, writer and evangelist. He wrote 13 books of the New Testament.

The museum has 78 scenes with more than 300 life-size wax figures. Exhibits include American folk art, word picture art, woodcarvings and rare Bibles. The museum also has a Christian dinner theater.

Bishop Salina Covington will host “A Day to Pray” from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday at The Place Where the Lord Provides Christian Center, 104 W. Evergreen Ave. All are invited to participate in the prayer vigil.
