8 TVs stolen from Austintown Kmart

AUSTINTOWN — Police are investigating the theft of eight televisions from the Kmart store, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

According to a police report, two unidentified males entered the business between 3:08 p.m. and 3:29 p.m. Wednesday. The two men loaded the eight TVs into two shopping carts, totaling about $1,500 worth of merchandise.

They then walked behind the toy and craftsman departments, through a rear stockroom and then out an exit door that triggered a door alarm.

A third person, who stayed in their vehicle while the two men were inside, drove the car around the building and they left the business with the televisions.
